The following is the list of Griz players who have been finalists for the Payton and Buck Awards. This then wouldn't include Dave. So the question is if u were drafting one player from this list who would you pick first in building a team. Or to play on the current team?

Just curious, why wouldn't this list include Dickenson? You've listed three winners of the Buchanan award (Biermann, Holmes, and Olson), and Dickenson won the Payton award in 1995.

Just curious, why wouldn't this list include Dickenson? You've listed three winners of the Buchanan award (Biermann, Holmes, and Olson), and Dickenson won the Payton award in 1995.
Simple: everyone would pick him. So it's basically the #2 choice in essence.

I'm guessing, to actually make it a discussion. Dickenson would likely rule this.

I won't pick just 1, being offense and defense are both important.

Any of the quarterbacks for the current team. I don’t know what we’re going to have and it might be our limiting factor.

Johnson was not a limiting factor at San Diego St. last year; doubt he will be at Montana this year.
