This is great news as seen in today's top 20 countdown listed on gogriz.com:

http://www.gogriz.com/news/2015/7/27/GEN_0727150658.aspx

20. Montana has been celebrating Homecoming week for nearly a century, and this year's festivities, headlined by two major events, might top them all. Begin the buildup to the football game against Northern Arizona on Sept. 26 with a once-in-a-lifetime gathering, a who's who of former Griz basketball coaches coming together for an evening to benefit Travis DeCuire's program: Brandenburg, Montgomery, Morrill, Taylor, Holst, Tinkle, possibly Heathcote and Krystkowiak, all at a function MC'd by longtime Lady Griz coach Robin Selvig. And then there is the 20-year reunion of the 1995 national championship team and the triumphant return of coach Don Read to Washington-Grizzly Stadium. But it will be more than just a celebration of an anniversary. The members of that team will have a major announcement. Hint: They felt moved to give back to the program, department and school that gave them so much.

I have a feeling this is going to be a huge announcement, and it's going to be big for the football program.

Hrmmmmm....I see. From the title I thought they were gifting a signed football. There is an excitement about the upcoming season we haven't seen for a while.

I believe that game will also feature the Griz wearing copper and gold throwbacks to honor the 1995 championship team.

Not thinking there are many places Don Read could have a "triumphant return"...so probably not many...

Well, he certainly bested his 58-0 loss to the Grizzlies in 1968 as the Portland State coach.

Either you're just being a knot head or you didn't realize the statement was about so many names coming together at one time, not Don Read.

He asked "where else could that happen?" Do you think there are numerous places that DR could have a triumphant return? :thumb:

I'm betting the team recommends a lifetime ban to Ironeagle and BigSky. However, given the past 10 years, why would we want to invoke common sense on this site now?

One more time then. He was referring to an entire list of events, not Don Read. :coffee:
