I think the Griz finally get a win on the red turf..

Looks like a lot of people have anxiety over the road UNI and EWU games, definitely our toughest.

But I strongly feel that UM has huge motivation to quit being embarrassed (losing) on the red turf, so I am vehemently predicting a Griz W over EWU.

The Griz run the table this year. No way they lose to NAU. Not with that horrific NAU defense. It's worse than both MSU and EWU's. It's horrible. Cookus & Butler both have a year under their belts and might keep them in it a while but they won't last 4 Quarters against the Griz. UNI lost key guys on defense. Could become a shootout in the end. EWU lost their entire O line. Our D line is gonna eat up worse that they did last year. I say Kidder breaks Wags record in sacks in a single game. Not to mention when October 1st gets here they will be on a 7 game losing streak. SUU will be tough. The defense is exposed a bit and full of new guys. They did get a drop down QB from BYU. That CoulD make the difference. Sac State is loaded with Sophomores. Gonna go out on a limb and say UNC might be the "Dark Horse" this year in the BSC. Won't win the conference but might raise some eye brows.

10-1 MAYBE if they can take advantage of the new players at UNI and go punch for punch the Griz could go 11-0. Likely could tie with the UNDies for the BSC and out bid them in the playoffs and make them cry again as they go on the road and get tore up by someone from the Ohio Valley or MVFC.

Yes on the QB/WR combination. Not so much on the defense. They were weak last season. A handful of significant injuries but every teams goes through that. There needs to be an improvement in team defense if they're going to win on the road and compete for the league championship.

What do you consider to be a "solid defense"? Northern Arizona finished 116th in total defense last year, and was even on touchdowns scored between O production and D given up.

I think this will be the best Griz team we've seen in a while. However an early game in the season, on the road, against a strong opponent will get the better of us. Griz roll through the conference and onto the playoffs thereafter.
