If DeCuire leaves, who do want as a replacement?

For those of you who have never seen any Griz practices, Travis and Chris Cobb are "equals" on the court as much as the top assistant can be an equal. He is just as authoritative as Travis in terms of controlling practice and teaching. His voice resonates with authority. Plus he has been the recruiter in chief.

But, in terms of his career, he wouldn't be faulted for choosing to be a highly paid assistant at Cal. Whatever happens, we all need to be thankful for the impact that Chris Cobb has had on the program.

Bobby Hauck, bring Bobby ball to the hardwood

Oh gosh, that would be so great. Is there a basketball equivalent of Bobby as a coach? Kyle?

Not that I know of. There isn't enough passion in the fan base for there to be a coach as polarizing as Hauck was with the football program

DeCuire removes name from Cal search - http://skylinesportsmt.com/decuire-returning-to-um/

Not that there would be anything to it but Washington's new head coach Mike Tompkins was introduced this afternoon at a news conference and strongly emphasized his local ties. Travis on vacation here in his stomping grounds at the same time? Possible assistants job here at a much higher salary in the Pac-12? Just sayin....

His vacation was planned before Washington's job opened
