Offensive gameplan

Utah had luck going deep & threw in-routes and slants pretty much whenever they wanted. Key to this one is the offensive line. Strength of the USSU D is the line. The edge rushers are fast & they sport rotating bridge abutments, one of them 30 years old in the middle. On top of that, they'll bring extra help from time to time as do everyone who defends this offense. They'll go as far as the line takes them.

Ps. BW is right, lots of potential for a special teams play or two.

The GRIZ do have deep threats. Unfortunately, either those deep threats are not creating separation yet, and/or the OL is not giving Gus time to get through the right reads to find deep options. Sort of like the hot women who don't give some of you enough time to go deep :)

Last sentence is definitely the laugh of the day for this old Griz fan. :thumb: :D

It's very simple:

Plays 1 - 10 -

HANG ON TO THE F*****G BALL!

Plays 11- 20 -

HANG ON TO THE F*****G BALL!!

Plays 21 - 100 -

REPEAT PLAYS 1 - 20!!!

This is dumb, the gameplay is based off of what SUU comes out and shows. The only reason JLM got so much attention vs CP is because they refused to play man press until later in the game. Even then they used a bubble with rotation to try and play the quick screen. SUU won't do that. They trust their secondary and the want the Griz to look for deeper routes because they have a solid line. So they will play their corners up and we'll prob see a fair amount of cover 2 type formations from SUU. That being said Brady will see this at the line he should target 6-10 yard routes. The key is WRs have to release from their coverage and get some room. The 5 yard out and slants in should be an option. Because of the press SUU takes away JLM on the quick pass so we need to find another way to use him. I would imagine we will see a lot of the fly this game. Not the fly sweep but the motion of it. That is our chance to create room at the line for the WRs. You can use this to gain 3-5 yards of room for an inside screen type blocking scheme. Insert JLM here but Brady has to be on. If his throws are low or high that gives too much room for SUU to counter and JLM won't have room even though he doesn't need much. That being said if we can start to get some LBs moving from side to side we can start finding seam routes and streaks, moving the LBs side to side will force safety's to honor the outside routes and should create some 1-1 options and hopefully a blown coverage or two. That being said if SUU is as good defensively as they look then we might have to force ourselves to try the run game and keep their linebackers honest. If SUU gets to have 7 players roaming the passing lanes it could be a long day for our Offense. Hopefully SUU watched the film last week and is going to spread the linebackers to stop our outside speed and we can pound the rock a little. It's only going to take 2-3 nice runs and SUU will have to respect the run and Our WRs I feel confident can beat single coverage. To recap we won't come out with a game plan to do x or y or z. Well come out and say okay they want to take JLM out okay well beat then with plan A, or get they aren't respecting that quick pass, plan B or hey they are not respecting our run game...scary thought...plan C. Use the options at hand Brady and we'll be okay

Shouldn't need more than 2 to run up 50+ on your sorry ass defense again.

When did the detention center let the convicts have access to the internet? Shouldn't you be soaring somewhere else? You're yarding will take place in a few weeks, be patient.
