First, let me thank y-stone60 for posting the YouTube videos. I suffered thru the crap they posted at GoGriz, and it was painful. Still, GoGriz did include the Q&A part, which had some interesting points.griz5700 said:Thought he did a nice job. High energy, positive attitude and was upfront about why he is at UM and essentially his goal to coach at the FBS level. But first a championship.
Liked hearing that this will be the most dominant in FCS. We shall see but good to hear.
Gregorak, Green, Legi, and Germer are huge additions to his staff.
The history, traditions and rivalries are understandably foreign to him, but that will come quickly I assume.
He has an attitude and cockiness that will be amplified once he fully understands those traditions and the advantages UM has at this level.
Cat fans will hate him. So will Rob Ash. That's a plus.
I think he will be a great fit for UM.

+1 Totally impressed when he started talking football.

I like the fact the he thinks this job is better than 50% of the FBS schools so maybe if he works out he won't be in such an all fired hurry to jump to an FBS dumpster fire.
I loved his comment, "Who said its not if you win or loose but how you play the game, I want to play that guy". Winning is everything :thumb:
90 plays a game, our boys are going to be in shape!!!!
Oregon offense comes to UM...

You beat me to it. Who knows if he does well and gets an offer from a different school he can't refuse but I'm getting the horse ahead of the cart a bit.
I think it was genuine when he thanked his wife and kids for supporting this move. Any parent knows it's tough for a child to pack up and leave the comfort zone you have known your whole life.
With that said the adjustment seems to be a bit quicker and seamless when you are 8, 10 or 12ish. Much harder when you are a teenager. Seems like the end of the world.
So here is to hoping Stitt meets and exceeds all of Griz Nations expectations the next few years and his teenage sons fall in love with Montana girls!

I have a funny feeling Stitt plans on seeing us through to the next level (literally)

Was thinking that as well. If um does move up it will potentially be with coach stitt at the helm. If he turns out to be as good as advertised, wow, did Haslom ever get this hire right!! A longtime coach is something I could get used to!
