Props to our kicking game

Reviewing the games it looks like almost all the kicks are designed short kicks. They are angling the kicks to one side and short to about he 5-10. This gives blocking less time to set up and your coverage is not as spread out. It's just a different strategy than kicking deep. If you watch practice or scrimmages you know that the kickers all have the ability to put it on the goal line or deeper..that's just not the plan

That looked like a bad call on the kick that was called out of bounds. Receivers foot was in the air when he caught the ball and landed on the sideline. But yes, the ball was headed out of bounds before the receiver touched it so it was not a good kick.

If a receiver catches ball in air and foot comes down on line it is out of bounds....same interpretation so is not bad call by rules ....bad kick yes!

Exactly. Even if the ball landed in bounds and came to rest in bounds, if the player is out of bounds when he initially touches the ball, the ball is considered out of bounds...so a penalty.

Nice to not have to hide my eyes on the point after. Kids going do nothing but get better...
