Riley has the potential to be the best Griz announcer ever. And I've religiously listened to a lot of them.
He's accurate. He's not a homer. He has a good voice and a lot of enthusiasm.
As citay says, your opinion may be colored by finally losing.
"He has a good voice..." Really ?... Riley's soprano pipes and the attending "enthusiasm" are more appropriate to a really, really closely contested pie bake-off or quilting bee at the county fair.
Nobody and I mean NOBODY could be worse than the old guy at Weber State and the second worse would be Cravens, the former Weber coach with his down home shtick, which around here, is called "going Dixie....no accident they are both homers for Weber.
