Did it occur to you that the hire might already be in place and won't be announced until after signing day, a common practice in college football?

I just don’t buy it as someone that understands the HR process at the state level. It does not take over a month like with Pease to clear. There’s more to it than that.

I just don’t buy it as someone that understands the HR process at the state level. It does not take over a month like with Pease to clear. There’s more to it than that.

I talked to someone more in the know than I am. I was told often times these coaches coming in have contracts tied to them in some capacity that don't technically expire until a certain date. For whatever reason, the UM won't announce until that date has passed. Maybe a contractual law kind of thing.

Andrew is a native of Washington D.C. who went to journalism school at Montana, working for the Kaimin in 2015. I just checked my Skyline account, and the issue seems to be there. It shows as expired, despite the fact that my bank shows a payment yesterday (after a billing the day before by Skyline).

Member name there is the same as here, if that helps someone figure out what is going on. Can't find a contact link on the Skyline website.
