32-12, 4:09 left in the half. GRIZ Defense and rebounding looking absolutely terrific. SUU having trouble getting open looks. They either need someone to breakdown the defense or move the ball around quicker. GRIZ defense totally controlling this game.
 
I think Falls has 2 or 3 1st half assists, and a few other would be assists, due to teammates missing open shots from his passing.
 
This Griz team looks legit and impressive. SUU put up 99 points on the Cats the other day so the Griz D must be the real deal as SUU has 18 just before half.

They sure are looking to be the real deal. The defensive rotations, timing, and continuity are as good as I've seen in many years. Right now, that defense is looking like a top 25 to 30 defense nationally. Then again, the better guard oriented conference teams will be the true test for the defense.
 
Have to guard against a second half let down. Certainly suu won't shoot 15% in the second half, and it will be difficult to stay fired up with a 19 point lead and likely some tired bodies.

SUU will undoubtedly play better in the second half... assume they'll get the ball to Morgan to start the second half.

Nonetheless, this was possibly the most impressive best single half of defense I've seen a Montana team play. Despite getting called for several ticky-tack fouls toward the end of the half.

Would love to see the Griz try to pound it inside in the second half.
 
Did the commentator just say the Griz are giving up 85.8 points per game and we are last in defense in the conference? That cant be right

Maybe looked at his own team who gave almost 100 to the cats
 
SUU broadcast sucks. Even their own fans cant possibly want to watch those replays over live play. Truly a complete broadcast failure. Should fire their entire broadcast team if it continues. Is that too harsh?
 
this would be a 40 point game if not for all of the touch fouls called against the GRIZ.


And then as I type that MO gets cold cocked with no whistle.
