I disagree. We got plenty of untapped talent in the QB room for years to come. DT is a far bigger concern in my view. We have a grad Sr who’s transferred in, playing in a 3 down lineman set for the first time, a couple of very undersized converted DE’s, and a young highly touted but apparently not ready natural DT. We need a big body with a couple years to play far more then we need another QB to take more practice reps from the guys we got.
The additions keep rolling in. Our staff work their asses off.

None of the QBs look confident and 100% ready to take the reigns. I'd like to get a 1 year transfer QB in and get some of these youngers guys more snaps when the game is in hand already. They need more time. We need someone with swagger to come in and be ready to go.

That transfer is Fife.
Maybe Fife is still that guy. It takes a while to really get in on an offense as a QB, and then you have to work timing. Watching him at Fresno, he could ball. I'm thinking we see a very different Fife in fall camp. Sneed became the kind of fiery leader I love, but he wasn't out there projected by all to be the man the summer before the season.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against adding another stud if we have one out there that is interested in coming to compete at QB and not disagreeing with you about whether we should add one. I'm just not discounting Fife yet.
