Well said. The problem with this in my mind is that PC is destroying free speech in the US. It is destroying due process (as we have witnessed with JJ), and it is creating a climate where only the agreeing voice is accepted and dissent, for whatever reason, is actively persecuted. PC crap flies in the face of EVERYTHING this country is supposed to stand for. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions, no one has the right to not be offended.

As for this proposed name change, it is all about a vocal minority trying to impose their world view on others. This is right on par with people suing Cabelas because they are not more "Vegan friendly." It makes me sick. I live in Portland, so I'm sick a lot.

As one whose family (English & Irish) was terrorized by Vikings I say it is high time this happened.

Just when I think it is safe to go to sleep at night there is some mention of "VIKING!" and the old ancestral fear returns. Make them stop sending me & my family running to hide in the root cellar each time some marauding hoard comes slinking up the rivers to pillage our home. In fact after that game in Portland I remained hidden for days.

Thank goodness there are PC people willing to stand up for those of us oppressed for centuries.
