Why I Like Our Recruiting Class

Just as a BB recruiting side note....Paris Austin, a pg the Griz were recruiting a couple of seasons ago and ultimately signed with Boise St., is transferring. He averaged a little over thirteen ppg last season. His next destination is unknown at this point.

Man, that guy is a bowling ball of power. Bummer for the broncs. hopefully, he doesn't go anywhere in the big sky other than the Griz.

At this point, the Griz have zero scholarships available. I would not be suprised if he ended up at a west coast school.

Paris Austin transferred to California (Cal).

Paris Austin was the first player DeCuire went after. And while we didn't get him, it was a sign from then on that we were going to be punching up when it came to recruiting, with Michael Oguine soon to follow. Turns out, we were lucky. Austin probably would have left us for Cal too, but you couldn't have blamed him for that.
