BYU will name Mark Pope of Utah Valley as their next head guy.

He's a guy I wondered about for UM if DeCuire left - he's done a great job at Utah Valley.

When it comes to Travis, here's a possible looming threat for us: Stanford.
--Current coach Jerod Haase, is 48-49 over the past three years;
--His best player, Kz Okpala, just declard for the NBA draft;
--His incoming recruiting class is rated 62nd nationally, and ninth in the Pac 12;
--Travis would of course have the solid endorsement of Mike Montgomery, well respected at Stanford;
--Travis has Bay Area ties;
--One job he could not turn down.

Hope he does well there, just in case the Stanford job opens in future years, he would obviously get a look as a Stanford Alum, and maybe considered a better choice than TD.
