Covid Updates - Not Politics

Hey Kem, don't you love how these two woke pin heads always play the geriatric card when they can't keep up? They would go crazy over any LBGTQRSTUV+ statement made by a poster, but don't include age-related comments as fitting their narrative. Free reign for the Depends comments, etc. Typical hypocrites of the left. But, as you quoted, father time will catch up with them too, providing they aren't shot by some guy's wife before they get old.

Great football post!! Your personality just keeps spilling out.

this is from the ny times. it shows how 20% of those who have tested positive for covid in dubai had the crappy sinopharm vaccine from china, and 10% of those hospitalized had also been vaccinated. they are now looking to boost effectiveness with the pfizer vaccine. the article also mentions similar problems in other countries. the more countries rely on chinese vaccine, the longer this mess will continue, which is probably what the ccp wants:

"In the first statistics of their kind released in the United Arab Emirates, the Dubai Health Authority said over the weekend that 20 percent of those testing positive for the coronavirus had already been vaccinated, as had 10 percent of those hospitalized .

The announcement on social media urged people to get jabs, noting that 90 percent of the people hospitalized with covid-19 were unvaccinated — revealing that 10 percent of those in serious enough condition to be hospitalized had been vaccinated.

The announcement did not specify the time period covered by the statistics.

The UAE, of which Dubai is the largest city, has one of the world’s most aggressive coronavirus vaccine rollouts, with up to 80 percent of the eligible population having received at least one dose, according to authorities. The Chinese-made Sinopharm led vaccine efforts, with other shots, including one by U.S. firm Pfizer with German partner BioNTech, later being introduced.

On Saturday, the deputy director of the Dubai Health Authority, Alawi Sheikh Ali, said that 2.3 million people — 83 percent of Dubai’s eligible population — had already received one dose and 64 percent were fully vaccinated.

Unlike countries like the United States, Britain and Israel that also have high rates of vaccination, the UAE has not seen its numbers fall — in fact, they have been rising over the past few weeks to a daily average of 2,000 new cases compared to just 1,200 in mid-May. No breakdowns are given for cases in the country’s various cities.

Chile, Seychelles, Bahrain and other countries with high vaccination rates have seen a similar phenomenon. What all these countries have in common is the use of Chinese-made vaccines, particularly Sinopharm.

UAE health authorities previously announced that a third Sinopharm vaccine dose would be made available to those who hadn’t produced enough antibodies after two doses. Subsequently, it was said that the third dose could be a shot made by Pfizer-BioNTech."

And your room temperature IQ always shows through. I just love how every post from either one of you and your "special friend" is followed by a post by the other is support. You two defiantly have each other's backs, if you get my drift. Frick-n-frack. Peet-n-repeet. Abbot-n-Costello. The board hates you, you're both too ignorant to figure that out.

And I was under the wrong impression that I was the most hated poster on the board. My hats off to you two libertines, you free thinking nihilists, say what you will about the tenants of the national socialists but at least they had an ethos.

Don’t sell yourself short. First impressions are many times correct.

Thanks for that I won’t.

If anyone is interested in a great documentary on China, Frontline is re-airing China Undercover tonight. It explores the PRC treatment of the Uyghur people. The documentary won a Peabody Award. I always thought that dog knew his shit.

Masks no longer mandatory indoors in most places as of today in CA. Feels weird. Wife said she diagnosed two new cases yesterday and one new one already today. I get that some people are huge anti-vaxxers, but how are normal people still not vaccinated?

Is two cases a day higher than normal?

I think the real question is, how are vaccinated people normal?

Three is higher than normal for this one particular doc at this one particular midsized hospital in the span of like 10 hours of work. I should have clarified that I’m not talking about a positive test, these are people who come in with chest pain and get a CT, and get diagnosed by a radiologist. A lot more common a year ago that today. She says the outcomes are not great when it has gotten to that point, but what the fuck would she know?

Normal is the wrong word. I mean not anti-vax. The vast majority would have been better wording. Sorry.

Well get your shit together if you’re going to attempt to post serious stuff. This isn’t amateur hour, FFS.

good video. vice news, of all outlets, did a good half-hour documentary on the same subject. they made their way pretty far into xinjiang, and recorded a lot of the rotten stuff the ccp is doing to 'sinacize' xinjiang, i.e. get rid of most of the uyghur people and replace them with han, or at least uyghurs who act like han, i.e. at least pretend to worship the ccp and xi, who has his pictures plastered in mosques, etc, i guess in an attempt to deify himself. it is the same thing mao did.

I should also add that I'm not trying to imply anything about the lifting of the mask mandate and new cases. I can see how it can read that way, but they were separate thoughts/updates. I just think it's wild that we're still getting people in ERs with it still after all this time. Sucks.
