I love all the recruiting news, but honestly, not all these guys are walking on. Who in the hell is leaving the program? I thought we had 13 to 15 schollies this year.

Looks like we beat San Diego St. and Wyoming for him. Good job to the staff for grabbing him.

Wow I was told there isn't a recruit in the world that would turn down a FBS offer for a FCS gig??

WTF kem?

Great News! Was hoping for this guy, going to have some big receivers for years to come  :thumb:

Hammer, you know what Kem and Jollyballs and the guys who say kids NEVER choose FCS over FBS say when it actually happens. They say those kids lie about their offers and they NEVER really had offers from FBS schools. Although I'd like to see somebody call Cody Balogh a liar about his FBS offers from UW and Wazzu to his face. I'd have paid to see that actually.

Tinkle may want to check out Richardson as well.

Pretty excited about this pickup. I assume he RS this year. I think this offense tends to works best with smaller quicker WRs, having said that, it is crucial to have a bigger guy. Knowing how to use that size is also very important. Hopefully he will be able to learn a ton from Moutra, get up to maybe 210-220lbs range, and be a solid Montana Grizzly for years to come. I haven't done a ton of digging around, but can he run? is there a 40 time out there for him?

SDSU and Wyo both had several WR committs awhile ago. Slots are filling up and it looks like a numbers game the kid got squeezed into. Good pick up for Montana. No question some kids do pick good FCS schools over FBS schools but sometimes it is also a numbers game.

Several FCS schools are making nice pickups as slots fill and kids go looking.

MWC plays the same game as we wait for the PAC -10 Big 12 slots to fill then pick up those who waited too long or were left with no offer.

Recruiting is quite the game frankly

Wyoming likely backed off this guy after they got a WR commit last week.. which makes 4 WRs the Pokes have picked up.

or Richardson wasn't showing Wyo any love so they offered other recievers as well. That happens too.

From what I have read online this kid looks solid.

But...

Dont we still need a QB to throw this kid the ball?

and...

Will our O-Line consitantly give said QB time to throw the ball this year?
