I had a good visit with our new head coach a few days ago. This young man is full of good stuff. Very smart and if we can keep him for five years or so we will be very lucky. I see him making our good program even better. Now back to the schedule......
 
Little known semi-reliable factoid - Cal-Berkeley wanted the Grizzly monicker, but lost it to UM which had first dibs waaaay back when both were fledgling members of the Pacific Coast Conference and had to settle for the generic Bear.

Interesting that Montana State opens at UCLA Nov. 14. I wonder if Pauley will be repaired by then. This game will be a blow out, no matter where it is...

CSU sure has been kind to Montana in scheduling the GRIZ for several years now. I might have to try squeezing in a trip to Denver that week. I think that would be a good time to inspect the house to see how the renter is taking care of it. :thumb:

Even more reason for the GRIZ and NDSU to match up in the FCS playoffs. :thumb:
