Former Prosecutor Calls Out Missoulian

What is interesting is that Kirsten would be one of the logical people to go to in doing a news article on any of this.

She handled these kinds of cases for years, has an excellent track record of aggressive prosecutions, can hardly be said to be part of any "old boys club," and would be one of the very few people with genuine knowledge of how these cases are handled, how UM's were handled relative to others, and yet .... the Missoulian never bothered?

Florio goes to the director of the YWCA, ostensibly out of the blue, to add hearsay to allegations of a "testosterone soaked universe," but won't -- underscore won't -- go and talk to a genuine professional at the heart of the reporting and prosecuting system?

That's journalism?

It's probably also worth noting Pabst's role in the First Step Sexual Assault Resource Center, the Montana Sexual Offender Treatment Association, the Missoula Family Violence Council, and numerous organizations focused on child abuse and domestic abuse. I believe Pabst was one of the original collaborators of First Step.

Summary of discussion between PR and TNT:

PR: black is white. Black is white. Black is white. Black is white.

TNT: No it isn't. Show me how black is white.

PR: You are old and senile. Personal attack. I am unable to come up with accurate refutation of TNT.

JCU chimes in: Black IS white!! Thanks, PlayerRep!

I see you are still sore that I've pointed out some dumb posts you've made, and now you make posts like this. Give me another cream puff to hit out of the park.

Nice call Noches De Passion.........PR needs a life and the endless "I said", "I'm right", "you're wrong", "in my view", "you're old and senile" BS is amazing. What's the point of this childish and seemingly endless babble?

Can't wait to hear the answer.

Someday, if the Missoulian gets back to being a newspaper, it will do an article on the relatively large number of support services available for rape victims, assault victims, and domestic abuse victims at the University of Montana and in Missoula; which may explain that "other thing" that the Missoulian has so far failed to report on -- the extraordinarily low rate of sexual assaults of any kind at UM and in Missoula compared to comparable universities and comparable communities.

That may be in large part due to the high awareness promoted by the relatively numerous support groups.

And if true, then .., again, what's the scandal?

...

might as well lock this entire forum down since only one poster's opinions "matter".

Correction:

Facts do matter. When they don't, then his opinion overrides any contradictory fact or opinion. Don't agree him and his crappy sources? Oh well...

Why is it I continue to see Testy Tester on every post add? Perhaps he is behind the demise of our football program. I had a feeling that former prosecutor was wrong. It is really Tester.

I got the black gal who played the DA on "Law and Order" on an ad for lawyers.com. Perhaps she REALLY is a lawyer bent on destroying the program.

Is that why I keep getting ads for porn and dating sites?
