Kaimin video, recruiting by UM and MSU

Enrolling students and just enrollment numbers isn't really the end all. The university actually does not make any money with instate student enrollment. It is the out of state enrollment that really butters your bread. And that is where the real marketing should happen. Get more out of state enrollment and let MSU subsidize all the instate losses.

International student revenue can be a huge financial boost. My daughter is the head international scholar dean at a prominent west coast university. Millions, many millions to her school. They pay the full bill for education and they get it in hand. UM is struggling with recruiting international students due to several factors

Really like the tone and the emphasis. More of this outreach and tooting your own horn is needed. If you won't stand up for yourself, who will? Hope to see much more of this in the future. Starting 5/24 in Billings.
