NEW VERBAL: ATH Garrett Graves- Eureka, MT

Welcome to Montana Garrett" ...The Grizzlies are Montana!" The Kittykats are from a fantasy world ... They play at Kittyland.. They leave reality at the gate and enter a fantasy world of "PRETENTIOUS" want to be's...Always pretending to be a Grizzly rival ,when in fact, they aren't even close! You made the right choice! But you know that!!! "Go Montana"!

Good blurb on news last night about Graves. Going to be a good one!

AHHHHH of course
At a time when the Griz... well sucked, he was worth the price of admission
WTF?

When the "Moderators" are the worst offenders, it's time to go.
Please, please do.

If money is the issue preventing such a move, we can begin a donation. I'm certain it would be extremely well funded.

Eureka football players have an interesting history with the two Montana Big Sky schools.
1975 Mike Holder was starting QB for cats and played a lot with the 1976 championship players.
1984 Corey Lamey was back up running back but won "Big Sky player of the week" and the cats win the National Championship.
(Yes this story gets better)
1995 Trevor Utter plays back up receiver behind Joe Douglas, Matt Wells, and Mike Eahardt. (Does the name Utter seem familiar, he's the coach of Garrett Graves).
2001 Griz win the the Championship but no Eureka player but another Lincoln County player is Vince Huntsberger(Libby).
2018-.... Garrett Graves, Will the tradition go on. Hope so. Go Griz

I hope they peg him as a safety. He's got speed and a state title in wrestling , great combo!

Vince, "DR. Death", who can forget.

While mentioning Lincoln County do not forget safety Blaine McElmurry 1995 National Champions.

Just a great story about a small-town, hard-working Montana kid with a good set of parents providing him with a solid foundation for developing and guiding him with his skills and talents. Congrats Colter and best of fortunes at Montana. Great to have you as Griz! :thumb:

Good job by Stitt and Co. to push the Business school degree at Garrett. I know he was very interested in the Engineering program at MSU so the best way to combat that is with UM's Business Program.

Excited to see Garrett play his senior year and continue to play football in college. Congrats Graves!

Garrett Graves jumped on our show yesterday. I was impressed with him as a young man when I interviewed him initially after his commitment. Even more impressed with him after his appearance yesterday.

You know he's tough when he says "I've heard about how hard Coach Hauck's winter conditioning is...and I can't wait."

thanks colter for sharing.....well spoken young man for sure....just the kind of kid we need as a griz !

I think Garrett is a home run for the Griz, probably the most versatile athlete in this class. I believe he will have a tremendous career for the Griz when all of the dust settles. Very happy he chose the Griz over the Cats. He's the definition of a player you want on your team, will do everything in his power to win. Bobby is going to love coaching him.

I highly doubt the winter conditioning is going to affect Mr. Graves. Wrestling is a different animal.
