Stitt:
- team played with passion and played hard
- feel like we gave ewu a good fight
- play makers like Kupp made some plays
- felt the game was closer than the score. If a couple of our plays are made we are in a battle. Ran a double pass and had a receiver wide open for TD. We hit 3 receivers for TDs that didn't get caught. When you have 25 first downs and 550 yards you ought to have more points.
- missed out on big plays and they capitalized on big plays. They didn't move ball great but made big plays
- feels like 6 months since we've won a game. Want to get back and play ball
- we need to execute and not think all about winning or playoffs. It comes down to execution. We need to execute and make plays.
- we moved the ball up and down and we are grading out higher than ever as an offense, but we need to make plays to get in the end zone. Overthrows, drops, missed FG, missed PATs all are dealing with execution
- took away a lot of positive too and that is a football team that may win it all, and we were right there
- no lack of focus this last week. Played a very good football team. Just came up short on making some plays. We have a lot of young kids and it's a process of bringing these guys along. There's been a big overhaul in the roster so we see a lack of experience but not a lack of talent
- that team has a lot of seniors and kids with experience. We hung in their with our young kids.
- there's a huge difference bt seniors and redshirt freshman. It's a process of becoming something great. I love our players and we needs to get them to where we need to be. These kids are coming along and patience is tough, especially in a place like this
- unless we are winning none of our players are satisfied
- NEITHER HORNER OR CALHOUN ARE OUT FOR SEASON
- we are really close in coming along in this process. We get a few things our way and all of a sudden we have 41 points.
- we have high expectations and our players do too. I'm very excited about it. We are going to get there and when we do, it's going to be a lot of fun.
Peevey:
- ewu a good team with great players. We don't look at them and think since they are so good we can allow them a certain number of points.
- it's all about doing what we can to hold them and win the game
- nothing is over. Taking this one game at a time. Focusing on ISU right now and how to win that game.
- we want to come into every single game the same and treat every game like it's my last
- we are an awesome team and it's a Griz year.
JLM:
- good convo over thanksgiving matching up with his older brother playing at ISU
- good to get back out and play with my teammates
