What do you think about Tester?

Regardless what party you associate with is it right for an elected official to use his position to damage a citizens reputation. IMO Testers actions were for political purposes only and to make Chucky Shumer happy.
Your thoughts?

I think he's a liar and a jerk.

What Tester did was character assassination pure and simple. The memo Tester released was nothing more than a list of anonymously-sourced, unsubstantiated allegations. The shocking “revelations” aren't holding up under scrutiny. There is a total lack of any official paperwork to verify any of the charges and there have been denials from multiple government agencies—including the Secret Service.....

I expect better out of a Montana politician

Demanding due diligence and vetting makes him a bad Senator? WOW

A fat Schumer with a crew cut out to get his eight fingered discount. POS. Back to Big Sandy, IF they'll take him back.
Comes back to Montana claiming to be so conservative, then goes back to D.C. and votes the progressive/socialist/communist line. November is coming, asshole. :protesst:

Don't they have a political thread on the Dead Zone board?

Screw, eagle.

Shouldn't that vetting take place "behind closed doors" not in the media, only to find out later the accusations are false?

FYI Tester is a Montana Senator. Washington Senators are Murray and Cantwell.

Not sure they were all false. When Trump does everything over Twitter I'm not sure how else it could have been done.

It has been said that 'coyote' wrecked a government car while drunk, got so drunk he couldn't be awakened to go to work, and 20 - 30 other accusations that reflect very badly on his character, outlined here on this sheet of paper I am handing out(McCarthy-esque, eh?).None of the accusations have been verified, but we will have public hearings to make sure we are transparent in our persecution, I mean prosecution, of this matter. Of course, we will publish his real name and other personal data as consistent with transparency.
Now, does that help put everything into perspective? :D
As Brit Hume said tonight, what Tester did is "a form of character assassination."

And if it was brought up a week later and after confirmation. It would be "What's wrong with Tester, that's his job to tell us before confirmation if he heard something. Now it's to late."

Looks like Republican Chair of VA committee backs Tester over Trump on this issue.

That is what progressives do, “Rules for Radicals” their playbook.

I guess the truth will come out in the polls this year as to what people really think of Tester.

There is always the group of die hard voters from either side that will vote for their party no matter what (Bush, Obama, both Clintons) etc... Then there is Moderates who will ditch their party when it becomes obvious they only work for their reelection.

Tester playing the "Look at me, look at me, I love Veterans" card is laughable, considering he doesn't do that in non election years, and considering he publicly fried an Admiral over "He said, she said"...

Tester is like most politicians who haven't really graduated Junior high mentally yet, and are still trapped in that sandbox as little kids, arguing about everything. It explains why nothing ever gets done in this country for the people.

Agreed. One would think this would have came out when he was the presidential doctor for bush 2, obummer, and the orange monster called trump

Never been a huge Tester fan, but Jackson was in absolutely no way qualified to run the VA. He has no experience managing an organization like that. Very little management experience at all.

I'd like anyone on here to give a formidable argument stating that Jackson was qualified. Trump nominated him because he was very complimentary and loyal to Trump. Loyalty is a good quality, but it does not make up for lack of experience or credibility. I could care less if the accusations were true or not, he should have never been nominated. Period.

While I agree he shouldn’t have been nominated (and that’s tough for me, a retired Naval Officer, to admit), you sure as hell SHOULD care if the accusations are true. Why couldn’t Tester just say what you said in your first two sentences? Why assasinate the character of a man who’s done nothing but served his country with honor? Why take the slimey low road when your first three sentences were really all that needed to be said?
