From the Daily Pilot article last week, "Awad said he wants to play football in college, though he’s waiting for his first offer." Amazing, the kid makes all the throws, his highlights go on forever.

Yeah, maybe. 34 TDs and 3 picks in a full season in a league with a lot of DI commits might suggest otherwise. I really wish I understood more about recruiting because he looks like a BSC killer to my untrained eyes.

I think he has seen it. I get why the Griz aren’t on this kid because he didn’t attend the mandatory Missoula summer ghost story/s’more camp, but nobody else? Watch Eastern scoop him and people freak out in three years.

Kid can play. That he has nothing for offers at this point would suggest there's something else missing. Not casting aspersions, but QB's don't grow on trees. He should be able to get an audition, all things being equal at the very least.

The highlights from his tape with the black end zones that say “Sheue” are from a few games where I watched him play. That stadium is near my house. His HS (Edison) has great facilities, but doesn’t have a real stadium, so they play at HB’s place when HB is on the road. Sunset League offensive back of the year over Malachi Nelson is kind of a big deal in my opinion.

That, right there, is what I’m wondering about. I get that 6’ 185 aren’t jump-off-the-page metrics, but the numbers against the level of teams he played against don’t lie, either. PWO or something? There are many like him in CA and TX.

IDK about that at the FCS level. Didn't Tommie Touchdowns take the Bobs to the NC game without being able to pass better than an above average 8th grader? Seems like that happened.
