What's the point? How is that more beneficial than it may be negative for the program and these kids? If anything pull out your wallet and cough up some change and discuss what you believe to be legitimate information on the closed forum.
These student athletes have enough crap to worry about between classes, training, practices and personal matters. They don't need every rumor plastered all over an open forum that could effect their future just so a poster can later pat themselves on the back and say "l told you so!"
"Why rumors shouldn't be blocked.....?" Let's hear it. Why? Nate would still be gone and he would have had a lot more stress and awkward questions to answer about his decision.
