New offer:

Looks very quick! I swear he pulled a Shammgod at about the 1:04 mark in his highlight video.

I see that he's visiting EWU. Wonder if he'll visit the Griz soon as well.

Thanks, Potomac Griz, I'll take those stats any day! Sign him up - if he visits Montana he won't choose the EWU's. They are not the EMU's.

.@DreamVisionAAU 2015 point guard Paris Austin has a final three of Montana, Boise State, and St. Mary's.

Per Verbal Commits, Wearne is going to EWU.

That leaves another scholarship open for a better rated recruit and/or a big man. Also a good sign of possibly Paris Austin signing.

I am hoping Austin signs along with a post player. :thumb:

I hope you are right although Wearne is not going to Boise or St. Mary's.

Jordan Dallas is visiting Weber this weekend. Hopefully, the visit will include going to the football game! :thumb:

http://norcalbasketball.blogspot.com/2014/10/williams-with-pair-of-offers.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Also, per Msalcat's twitter account, Williams is visiting Montana this weekend.

I'm selfishly hoping Jordan Dallas will be a GRIZ!!!!! If not, anywhere but Weber State.

Strange, by looking at this link, the GRIZ have a few more Sophomore JC's listed for PF than going to the team search for Montana. http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/jordan-dallas" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/kenan-guzonjic" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/tanner-morgan" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/houston-lavachek" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All these guys are good size too. :thumb:

Lavachek has been on there since before Tinkle left.

I am trying to dig for more recruiting information about Canadian prospects. It is tougher than finding information on JC recruits.

I'm intrigued by Lavachek after looking at the film. He's a good shooter and ball handler for someone who is 6-9. Was playing guard not too long ago, but sounds like he's really shot up in height in a couple years. May be flying under radar because he wasn't a big guy not too long ago and he's from out in the boondocks-- central North Dakota. And now plays at the community college at Williston -- Brian Qvale's old digs, I believe.

Of the three, only Guzonjic actually has a Griz offer. Per a very recent article on him, he is waiting until after his JC season is over to choose a four year school.

I know we're kinda out of recruiting season but I just noticed the possibly precarious situation coach Decuire is in. We currently have 6 sophomores on the roster under scholarship. JUCO kids are usually where teams end up looking in the spring period. I can't imagine he would bring in any junior's to be and have that many players in 1 class. Certainly not ideal. That takes out a significant amount of potential recruits, unless players (multiple?) won't be back next season. Interested to see how it all shakes out

No offense to David Jenkins, but why another PG offer? All the guard offers are beyond ridiculous.

Per his twitter account and several other twitter posts, Walter Wright (Snow JC) visited Montana this past weekend.

Thanks for the info. Yet another pg. Sorry, I just don't get the infatuation with multiple PG's, especially after getting a great guard already for the upcoming class.
