He was a part of some really good Steele Canyon Football teams when he was in High School. Played Varsity for them for at least three years and was a staple in their secondary both as a CB and as a Safety. He's played in the 3-3 a ton as that was SCHS's preferred defense and probably trends as an alley safety and slot type corner. Really smart/savvy kid. If we end up with him, it would be a good get. The SCHS teams had a crap top of talent on them over the past four or five years and a little bit like Helix HS all their talent it is sometimes really easy to obscure how talented some of those kids are.

Clearly in this weird covid recruiting and transfer environment Hauck and company are relying on past connections with players and known recruiting connections to help augment the roster. There are a lot tallented players at Grossmont and other Cali JC's because of the glut of players that weren't seen a ton over the past two years that could be a real treasure trove for 4 year schools.

Rishi Daniels ( After a year away from the program I’ve heard that Daniels will be back with the team, could also play Safety)

Seems somewhat odd that with this many bodies in the defensive backfield room that we’d add TWO transfers….but hey, I guess if the opportunity exists to get significantly better you take it. Still waiting on two O-line and some D-line beef announcements….

One transfer has two years left the other has one year left. A lot of those others are pretty young.

The first half had me worried, knowing how the offense struggled to put up points at times.
Next year shouldnt be as big of a concern, with new play makers coming in.

He is a tough kid and a stud wrestler as well. He placed 2nd as a sophomore in Wyoming prior to transferring to Nebraska las year. Won the state championship as a junior at his new school in 2021.

Wow! Definitely thought the Griz were out of it after the trail went cold and NAU/Nebraska were all over him on twitter. One benefit of the staff doing all the behind the scenes recruiting is surprises like this!

Too bad after he performs well, Nebraska comes and poaches him back home, kidding... but not really :lol:
