Ribs Recipe

That's an excellent tip polsongrizz. I didn't know the difference so went to the google and yeah, dry is the only way to go. Thanks.

Easy BBQ sauce recipe.
bottle of ketchup
1/2 as much coke classic as ketchup
3 oz garlic powder
3oz onion powder
4 oz concentrated liquid smoke
1/2 grated onion
Cook all together. If not thick enough, thicken with corn starch.

maybe a shot of whiskey in that also? I'm not a big fan of bottled sauces but really like the Jack Daniels Old #7 original.

Here's my last little batch of ABTs from a few days ago. They're ugly little cocksuckers mainly 'cause I was running low on bacon and therefore couldn't do a full wrap for each jap. Didn't seem to matter...they kicked ass.

I know most of us live in the area but if you don't you should check out a friends/acquaintance's new BBQ place. We met Carey while on a 8 month road trip at the World BBQ Championships at Memphis in May.
We also got to meet Evan Lobel who's family sells some of the best Prime Meat in the country. It was nice because I have been ordering meat from theses guys for years. It was also nice since he invited us to his place in NY when we were there and gave us $1000 credit from Lobels :thumb: .
Anyway if you are in the area, Nashville, check out Peg Leg Porker.

Thinking about throwing a big pork tenderloin on the smoker this afternoon. I did one a year or two ago but left it on way too long and dried the shit out of it. I plan on paying better attention to it this time and pulling it off around 140 internal temp. The cupboard is a little bare right now so I think I'll just coat it with mustard and rub and throw that SOB on some apple wood at 225 or so. I planned on just grilling it but I'm almost out of charcoal and the road to town is an icy bitch right now. I was sliding around last night coming home and that was with chains on. Glad I picked up a case of PBR last night cause I'm not going anywhere today if I don't have to. Anyone here ever smoked a pork tenderloin?
