Which high school? Centennial is less than 2 miles from my place. There are a few schools in Centennial. I would go watch this kid play.

Supposedly, the Folsom kid out of Dillon has verballed as well, but will be going on his mission first. His bother Monte verballed a couple of years ago and is due back from his mission this spring.

Looks like a good class of Montana kids this year.

Seems like a decent start for both schools montana wise. Who else is out there in Montana that both schools are looking at?

Nice to see Brekke had 300 (rushing yards) of Helena's 331 total yards last night. The future looks bright.

I read he had 251 of total offense, which is still tremendous, including TD runs of 70 and 94 yards. Brekke is a big play waiting to happen. Sounds like Big Sky might have a team this year, as they gave the capital boys all they could handle.
 
Your correct WaGriz, I read it as he had the 300 when it was the total ground game with him gaining 250. Thanks for catching that. Can't wait to see him in the future. Also, good point about Big Sky. They did appear to play well.

He's a great athlete. One of the better basketball players in the state as well as the Class B champion in the long jump in what was I believe his first year in the sport. Once he concentrates on one sport he's really going to improve. I have a feeling it will be a pretty tough battle between us and MSU for him.

Gunnar Brekke, is the real deal according to a friend of mine who lettered 4 years at WR for the Griz under Read. He figures he'll play wr, but depends on how this coaching staff runs their offense.

also, at Capital they match up kids with others 3 years younger as a kind of mentoring thing. it's pretty cool.
Anyway, Gunnar's little buddy is a frosh at Captial...don't be shocked to see him starting 2 or 3 years at Capital, and then the Griz.

yes, that's a teaser. hit me up this spring, and pay attention to the freshman track results from capital.
