Very polished for his age. Good routes. Good size. Fast in pads. Willing to block. Plays like a coaches kid. Does all the little things so the big things look easy.

Also add-in he has a good release off the line and knows how to work with his QB when the play breaks down. He is a smart, savvy football player and you nailed it...he is polished for his age. Not elite athleticism like a Gabe Sulser but as a pure WR, Nick is pretty damn good coming out of a high school from Montana.

Given time in the weight room, training, and coaching he could be a stud in the Big Sky.

That was one of the things I noticed as well was his release. Feet kept moving. Hands in position to shed defender. That is a skill that takes some receivers years to master at the college level. He gets into his routes and can accelerate out of his breaks. His attention to small details remind me of Cooper Kupp. I am not saying he is going to be near that level, but he does a lot of the small things that Kupp does that give you an advantage against the defensive backs.

Coach's sons (daughters too, in other sports) are almost always good gets.

I hope he pronounces it : Ho-telling. Sounds like a long business trip or a hooker who talks too much.

Nick Germer talked a lot about being the first to commit so he can help the rest of the class, particularly in terms of in-state kids, come together in our interview last night. Germer's story:

Germer follows father’s footsteps, commits to Griz

I want him just based on his name. Definitely first all name team.

Watch the first two plays. You'll be hooked.

Runs like Deonte Foreman, late of University of Texas....

Stout, powerful runner. Scrolling down his page I see he's at least got an offer from Nevada. He'd look pretty sharp in maroon though.

Me like!! Reminds me of the Georgia southern back Adrian Peterson from 2000.

Dan Moore with more speed and better feet. Doubt he'll end up FCS. I agree, though, would look great in maroon and silver.

First guy I thought of as well, CG. And I agree, it'd take a miracle to get him in Griz gear...

unless his grand parents already live in Missoula and his dad would get transferred to Missoula, other wise he is million to one shot that we get him.....imo....he is a big timer .....doesn't hurt to offer though....
