Sun belt looking at coastal carolina and eku

Boy, I don't know if Coastal Carolina will move up or not -- they've only been averaging about 8,000 or so per game. That's like having ISU move up to FBS, and we're far from being ready for that! I've seen some reports on the internet which state that James Madison and Liberty would be likely to be invited into the Sun Belt. And if that were to happen then that would bring their FB membership to 13 teams, and therefore Idaho would get kicked out to bring it to 12 teams.

His comment about geography came up when asked about the possibility of New Mexico State joining as a full-conference member. New Mexico State and Idaho are each football-only associate members, rescued from the implosion of the WAC during conference realignmageddon. The geography statements would also suggest a school like UMass is without question out of the picture.
