Cats Losing Players

So do I have this right? The cats have lost 10 players from the last recruiting class? And wasn’t that the class the cats were purring about? Like it was ranked top 5 in all FCS or something? Or was it the prior class that was ranked so high?
If so, holy crap. That is alarming and I would be concerned. When almost half of the school’s “greatest” class bails, something is wrong...

That recruiting class was so good that some players must have left for better programs, or programs with a qb who could throw. Ha.

You are right on the two WRs that left. It had to be really frustrating last season for the WRs. The transfer portal makes it very easy now for any player to transfer. As I mentioned previously, it is going to have a huge impact on college football and probably more so the FCS.

Have you mentioned that in this thread?

Pre-Season Natty Champion class was all that was missed, I think.

Say what you want. The transfer portal will have a big effect on college football, including UM. We will not know if it is a positive or negative for a few years. I believe it will be a negative.
Who is James Williams ?
Why is his "grass greener" else where?
Does Choade make a habit of recruiting mommas boys?

James father passed away in 2017. He had committed to MSU. Was a tough time after the father died for the family. He honored his commitment and played a lot as a freshman last year. But, with the family situation he had a tough time being so far away. Nothing to do with the grass being greener. Looks like he wants to be closer to the family in Texas.

James father passed away in the Spring of his senior year. He had already committed to play at MSU. Was a tough time after the father died for the family. He honored his commitment and played a lot as a freshman last year. But, with the family situation he had a tough time being so far away. Nothing to do with the grass being greener. Looks like he wants to be closer to the family.

Nothing to do with "Greener Grass"?
Yet, you failed to mention he may have been a kitten starter....but, now he's moving Up to an FBS team......

Just what exactly have you idiot kitten fans redefined "grass is greener" to mean to you now?
Do any 'kitten' move on specialists qualify?

He was not a starter but got good playing time in a back-up role. He was a very good player. Would be a starter this year if he has not gone back to Texas. He had FBS interest coming out of high school. With the transfer portal, there may be an FBS school close to his home that is offering him. If so, good for him. I am sure he would have went FBS out of high school if he was taller. He is 5' 10" or 11" 310 lbs. There has been no definite word on him leaving MSU or if he has, where he is going to school down there.

So you're saying Williams is just another typical Choade "Grass is Greener" recruit that has some loyalty impairment like so many other all world kitten recruits that are no longer kittens.....

Word at Spectators was that Head Coach Jeb Chomps has a mutiny on his hands. It was either that or a matinee. This comes from several people very close to the program, all with extensive experience in football matters.

No, he is a great kid that went thru some serious family issues with the loss of his dad. If he has left MSU, it is because of his family. His athletic ability gives him the opportunity to play close to home and with what he showed last season, maybe at the FBS level. There has been no confirmation that is the case. I think you are way off base on this one bear axed.

Also, even though some recruits have left, Choate is building a very strong team that is headed in the right direction. Some of those kids that left is because they got beat out. That means the competition is good.

Choade has driven off or lost a ton of players you idiot kitten fans all guaranteed us would be all sky and all world players for the Cats next year.
Is William's #9 or #10?

Choate has done a great job against the Griz. I guess he lost the right ones or brought in plenty of good ones that have stayed.

Yes, if it came from Spectators it must be true.

Holy shit another one bites the dust! They had 30 players in that class and now 10 of them are already gone or never ever showed up to begin with. And I want to say all 10 were 2 and 3 star kids which is why they got such high recruiting rankings from HERO Sports. This one will hurt the most....a bowling ball DT who played a lot last season as a true freshman. Not easy to find or replace! Sorry BS33, at one point you gotta take your sack out of Choates mouth and ask yourself wtf is going on here.

These kinds of things are very common going into year four after a coaching change.

Losing Williams does hurt. He would have been a starter. Williams is not leaving because of Choate or the program. Losing his dad was really tough on his family. He wants to be with them. Cannot fault him for that. I wish him the best. Also, we do have some decent depth and some good talent coming in. Also, it is early enough to bring in transfers if need be. TheCat roster all the way around will be stronger next year.

The great Griz recruiting classes you guys have had orgasms over on here the last few years have not done much. You might want to ask wtf is going on?

How do you know why Williams is leaving? You talk of such things like you had Williams over for dinner. You have no fucking clue why he left except for the rumors you read on kitty nation and then try to sugar coat over here. It’s rinse lather repeat with you and it’s always sugar coated with a shit ton of sugar. How do you know he wants to be with his family? Don’t spew shit you have no idea about, you did that with Vernon Adams and it didn’t go well.

I do know that Williams lost his dad just before he came to MSU. I also know being so far away from his family has been tough on him. There was a lot of doubt that he would come to MSU as signing day got close last year.

You appear to be the one just making up shit and spewing fake news and rumors. You must hang out in Spectators
