Faculty ask for reconsideration of Hauck hire

I have a great sense of humor when something is funny.

And I have met you Not sure about any of your relatives and am still quite befuddled how or why they entered the conversation.

A lot of names on this list with gender identity issues. Just sayin'.

Edit: Should also point out many of those names enjoyed the game from R. Engstrom's box. And I quote "I don't know a first down from a (insert big animal here) down, but the booze was great!!!"

Let’s be real... this has as much to do with Trump and the national butt hurt feelings of liberals as it does Bobby Hauck.

Cry babies got their feelers hurt.

Disagree totally!

I support the Hauck hiring, but consider Trump to be a lying con-artist. One has nothing to do with the other. Keep politics out of a college football forum.

I disagree. Liberal moral outrage is at an all time high.
I guess the same could be said about ultra conservative stupidity as well [emoji57]

Seems that there are lots of whiners on here who bitch if anyone says one little thing contrary to what they like or want. I am surprised how any of you can even stomach to spend money at this university much less live in this horrible left wing valley.  :thumb:

HELP
How much does the revenue from the football program get spread around.

It's a misconception to state the athletic program earns income. It's still revenue negative and needs state funding to survive.

Thanks

How about instead of complaining and moaning about everything they (faculty) don't like at UM, they tried to go out and recruit students to come to the UM themselves, enroll in their programs and classes. Get students that otherwise wouldn't be coming to the U. Can you imagine if they helped fix the problems themselves. Be part of the solution? Nah, it's easier to sit back and complain.

If that's true, based on your posts, you must be grossly overpaid.

Probs. Because I'm quite confident I earn considerably more than you. I just brag about it a great deal less.

How much do you make? What's your net worth? How many houses do you own? How many ranches? How many are in the Bakken? Why don't you pick 1 relative and I'll pick 1 relative, and we'll compare net worths? Ha.

More than you. More than yours. Depends what you call a "house", I guess, but depending on your definition, more than one, less than seven. I don't ranch. None are in the Bakken (thank God). I have no desire to meet your relatives and have absolutely no idea what they have to do with one's net worth.

Listen, fellas....I recognize that entering myself into this dick-measuring contest is the...er...biological equivalent of taking a knife to a gun fight but I'm doing it anyway:

My car is paid off, my dog eats only premium dog food and my credit card debt is extremely manageable.

I disagree. Liberal moral outrage is at an all time high. And yes, that carries over from national to local. How do you explain the false and inaccurate statements regarding Hauck?

And sorry. Did I miss where anyone was talking “football” in this thread?

Apparantly some people oppose Hauck’s hire, and some people support his hire. There are likely many reasons for people’s opinions.

Why is there a need for you to presuppose that people that oppose Hauck’s hire do so because of “liberal moral outrage” or that any of this is related to Trump? I despise Trump, but support Griz football and Hauck’s hiring. I am liberal on some issues and conservative on others. There is no need to ‘s pigeon hole people’s opinions about Hauck’s hiring, or use this matter to air your political biases.

Perhaps we should just agree to disagree to avoid having another thread get off track.

My god people, give Hauck a chance! He admitted he has grown a a person and coach! EVERYONE has said, done or acted in a manner a somepoint in there lives they regret. Hauck is human just like everyone else. He is not a convicted criminal so don’t treat the guy as one! I am quite certain Hauck did not looks at recruits and say oh hay this kids got a wrap let’s sign him. Who cares if he is is thug. I expect a coach to stand by his players for the most part. It instills trust in the players Look every hopes to have the support and backing from there boss right? If your boss throws you under the buss all the time of does not offer support that does not sit well and your less likely willing to do your best.
Also keep in mind we now have student code of conduct which I don’t think we had during Haucks first stint as coach. I don’t think a lot of schools did!
So before people start calling for Haucks job let him do it first!
Maybe the faculty should offer to assist rather than call for a guys job before he has done it! Seems pretty hypocritical to me.

I haven't been around UM sports for a long time and apparently no matter where you are today you can't escape this nonsense.
Serious question.
Hauck was here for 8 years in his prior stint. How many players were arrested and convicted of a crime?

How many players do you think passed through the program in 8 years? Has to be 300 to 500 which would be a fraction of 1% of his players convicted of a crime.
Once again the far left libtards don't look at the whole picture before rushing to judgement.

One last question.
How many students were arrested and convicted of a crime over an 8 year period that went through any of their classes over the length of time? My guess is they would be shocked by the numbers.

I can say without reservation that EVG is a hugely wealthy individual.

One night, while drinking with a Boise peach & potato farmer in-the-know, I asked him about the various characters on the board he knew personally. When we got to Everett, and I quote “comes from a strong family, was second to none in space and owns an entire wing of Schick Shadel”, whatever that is.

But can he kick?

Does anyone else here hope these men and women (yeah I’m assuming your fucking gender just to piss you off,) suffer an actual injustice to temper their insecurities on perceived injustices? Go out and recruit some goddamn students to your fucking department so you don’t have to worry about getting cut.

The short answer is yes. But he’s exhausted all eligibility. Not that I’ve been there to do so, am told you can see four of the six homes & his charisma from space.

Whoa....slow down, birdie. There's also dick measuring.

I'm so confused these days. I'll post a quote (many more like it) from this thread but not attribute it.
Once again the far left libtards don't look at the whole picture before rushing to judgement.

I'm liberal, very liberal, you could call me socialist and not be far from the truth. But I support the hiring of Bobby Hauck. I want the Griz to return to the football team seen in the Chase Reynolds video. So according to a lot of you posting on these related threads it is just time to come out, chime in with the Davies petition and the faculty letter and the Missoulian and Kaimen articles and call out for recinding the contract.

Or maybe, just maybe Griz football has nothing to do with political persuasion and you should just let that crap go. As GGNez encourages, choose wisely my friends or you may alienate even more fans with your ill thought out labeling of those currently within the fan base.
