Butte at Glacier tonight... Pinball score the last three times these teams played.

You're right Paytonlives, crazy offensive games the past few years between these two offensive-minded teams. Last year in the playoffs Glacier won 62-55.

Last Fri nights' game, wasn't as close as the past couple...

Logan Jones
Brady McChesney

Both had very good games for Glacier last night. Glacier played an average game and beat West 31-7....

Both are really good players for the states #1 team. Both had good games last fri versus Butte.

From the Montana Standard (Butte paper):

... "Cook, leading the state at just under 300 passing yards per game, finished 24 of 49 for 285 yards, connecting with Connor Lane and Ryson Lovshin for scores. Cook would also finish the game with three interceptions.

Star receiver Dalton Daum, averaging more than 116 all-purpose yards per game, faced double teams from the Wolfpack for most of the night, but still finished with 6 catches for 129 yards.

McChesney was 17 of 24 for 249 yards to go with his three touchdown passes. Glacier was led on the ground by Thomas Trefney who totaled 102 yards on 23 carries. Logan Jones grabbed seven passes for 105 yards and a touchdown." ...

Tonight vs Hellgate Daum has 120 rushing as a RB and 3 TD catches. Cook passes his brother 's single game record with seven TD passes in 51-0 win.

Logan Jones of Glacier vs Sentinel tonight had one of the top bonehead and unsportsmanlike plays of the year. They were up by 45. He is not worthy of wearing a griz uniform. It's ironic it was against Sentinel as he was coming home from the Sentinel game his freshman year and had a real bonehead moment.

His size will probably keep him out of FCS not his bonehead plays.
(Not my grade just usually how college coaches look at a 5-8 RB/WR)

Another Friday another AA blowout: Glacier 59-7

McChesney is hands down the best QB in Montana.
Last night he was 16-22 for 270 Yards. (Season 116/176 for 1725 and 23 TD's) The kid throws accurate darts. Was talking last night with a older gentlemen at the game (Flathead brave fan 40+ years) and he stated that he "has never seen a QB as good as McChesney" Pretty high grade for a guy that saw Brock Osweiler (Denver Bronco Back up QB to Manning) play many games in Kalispell.

Another Wolfpack player that is flying under the radar is Sam McCamley. He caught 6 balls last night for 126 yards. On the season he is 29 Rec for 541 yards (18.7). Great hands good size and could play FCS football

BTW: Before anyone starts popping off about Cook in Butte being better then McChesney, remember that Cook has thrown well over 100 more passes this year and still barely leads McChesney in yards and is no when even close in accuracy.

I talked to a parent from Glacier last week. The Griz are showing very little interest in McChesney. Frustration growing about it too. Kid is really good, and really smart in what he does with the ball.

Hope we start recruiting the Sophomore Gillman from Glacier. NOW!!!!

Any chance his father is Mark Gilman?

Makes it hard when the Griz already have a QB Verbal (Willy Pflug)

Cook is a junior. Butte's offense is built on the pass. Next year will determine Cooks collegiate potential. Right now he is somewhat immobile and slow. He is pretty accurate. Nobody in Montana high schools throws a better deep ball than Cook however. BTW Daum had a 99 yard KO return last night. His second career 99 yard return.

I for one hope Daum is a Griz

It is too bad the kid didn't take it that extra yard to make it a 100 yard return. :ugeek:

Oddly enough, on the play, Great Falls kicked off from the Butte 45 due to a roughing the kicker penalty on the preceding PAT. Daum caught the ball on the 1, so he only had 99 yards to work with. He also had a 40 yard punt return and a TD catch on the night.

He is throwing about 57% accuracy. TD's to Int isn't great (11/9). 50 more attempts than the next one. But agreed. He is a Junior and still learning. These are before the games this week.

Talking to some CMR parents here in Helena, sounds like the Bobcats, Saints, and
Others are actively talking to a few of their standouts.
Bryce Cuchine #3
Bryan Wilkes #74
Peyton Sexy #90
Jordon Wanner #94

Shocking that these kids are rated high in their positions, taking
In games and talking to the our competition coaches.... Yet we aren't talking to them?
This is only 1 example of a local MT kids that r slipping thru our fingers
I'm sure there must be LOTS others thru out the state. Lets get
Some MT kids signing and keep our team Great !!!
