I for one hope Daum is a Griz

I also like the potential of Holden Ryan out of Bllings Central < http://bobcatnation.com/node/329" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

ryan is the real deal along with the blood lines he has ....his brothers and/or cousins are all the same way...I think they have all gone the pac 12 route though, which is problematic...we need this kid in a griz uniform,,,maybe burke can help us out here.

Of all the Ryan boys, only Pat went Div 1A. (Full Ride to Notre Dame). Casey and Kyle Ryan both played for the Griz. Holdens uncle Si was a stud for the cats. Holden is going to be a stud athlete in college and Montana is high on the list. Unfortunately I think Washington or CSU may get him.

teames,,,,thanks for the correction regarding the ryans,,,,like you said, holden is a wonderful athlete, I hope we can beat out Washington and csu, if it comes down to that....that family has quite a pedigree......go griz....

For those looking for more recruiting info on Montana kids, here's a good article on one of the best Montana High School receivers of all-time:

PS. This was published the day before the 2015 regular-season finale.

Read an article about the Bingham kid a few days ago in the Missoulian. Sounds like the Griz after him. Would be good to get him, the Holden kid from Billings and Daum. Any others?

Are we actively recruiting Gabe Sulser from Billings Senior yet? Only 39 months left until he can sign - lol. The kid's good.

Short List
QB- McChesney (Glacier)
RB- Diaz (BigSky)
RB- Grinde (CMR) (Junior???)
WR Jones (Glacier)
WR Daum (Butte)
WR Mulcahy (Capital)
WR Leonard (Great Falls)
WR McCamley (Glacier)
TE Bingham (BigSky)

LB Hill (Glacier)
DB Rauthe (Glacier)

OL-Wilkes(CMR)
OL -Pisk(Glacier)
OL- Brott(Bllg West)

What position would Holden play in college? I don't see him as being a RB. Not sure about his hands to be WR.

At 6'2, 210 pounds, I could seeing him playing OLB.

He plays that on defense already, and said, "“Football has always been my first love,” he continued. “I like getting to hit people.”

He certainly could play on defense. He's an excellent player on both sides of the ball.
However he really belongs on offense. The kid has a gift for finding the end zone.

He has racked up 47 touchdowns running & receiving the past two seasons.
The Griz could rotate him between running back, slot, and wide receiver. Regardless of the position we'd just need to get the ball into his hands.

Hey another kid worth looking at in my opinion is Butte Central's Danny Peoples.

Dad is head coach, so he know football.
Took an severely under populated school to the State A Semis (so far) playing, as far as I know, at QB,kicker, punter and on defense (help me out here Butte guys...safety?)

I have not watched him play this year but have seen him at many football camps and he looks to be a D1 level punter/kicker with the bonus of a QB skill set.

Anyone?

I know it's been said but Grinde is the next Hilliard. He's that good!

He is a player. Strong and quick and is a gym rat. He has great instincts as well. I don't know how we could not be on this kid. If he continues as is, the state of Montana will be lucky to keep him. He is only a Junior.
